In a bold move just days after the completion of the annual Bilderberg meeting, Microsoft Founder and Chairman Bill Gates has announced that he will transition away from day-to-day responsibilities within the Microsoft organization, to allow more time to focus on charity work with his $29 billion "Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation."
"This was a hard decision for me," claimed Gates, in a press conference shortly after his first confirmed Bilderberg attendance. "I‘m very lucky to have two passions that I feel are so important and so challenging. As I prepare for this change, I firmly believe the road ahead for Microsoft is as bright as ever."
Quite simply, the Bilderbergers are preparing Bill for a political career. His neatly crafted "focus on the Foundation" excuse is the perfect setup for a Bill Gates White House run in 2012. (Bloomberg/Gates?) Watch for Bill's activities with the Gates Foundation to become increasing visible and humanitarian; perhaps a seat in Congress or the Senate, maybe even a UN appointment or ambassadorship to fatten the portfolio (as if "World's Richest Man wasn't enough for the ones whose votes are counted)....
